ARE SESSIONS HELD IN PERSON, ONLINE OR ON THE PHONE?

I offer both in-person sessions in the Westlake area of Austin, Texas and virtual telehealth sessions. If you sign up for a free 20 minute consult, this will be held via a phone call.

WHAT ARE YOUR RATES?

My fee is $100 for a 50 minute session or $150 for a 90 minute session. Payment is due at the time of each session.

DO YOU OFFER SLIDING SCALE OR A FREE INITIAL CONSULT?

I have a select number of reduced rate appointments available each week. If you are unable to pay the full fee please email me for availability.

And yes! I do offer a free 20 minute consultation call.

DO YOU TAKE INSURANCE?

I do not accept insurance at this time; however, I do reserve a limited number of reduced fee appointments each week. Contact me to learn more!

HOW DO I BOOK A SESSION?

You can book your session either by filling out the contact form or emailing me. I will be in touch within 24 hours to schedule and confirm your session request. 

WHAT WILL MY FIRST SESSION BE LIKE?

After you've scheduled your first session, I will send you some initial paperwork to fill out. This will include your general information, outline my policies (like cancellations, confidentiality, fees, who to contact in case of emergencies, etc). During your first appointment, we will walk through your paperwork, discuss what brought you to therapy, and what your goals are for our time together. If you're uncertain about what your goals are - no worries - as this is something we can craft together during our first few sessions. 

HOW LONG DOES THERAPY LAST?

The length of therapy is completely unique to each person. For some, they attend short-term, under ten or so sessions, while others have a more long term path that can last from a few months to years. 
Throughout the therapeutic process, we will work together to make sure you are working towards your goals.

I'VE TRIED THERAPY BEFORE, AND IT DIDN'T WORK OUT. SHOULD I STILL BOOK A SESSION?

Research has shown that the #1 most important element that impacts someone's success in therapy is the therapeutic relationship. Each therapist has his or her own unique style, energy, toolbox of techniques and perspectives for healing. This is one of the reasons that I always encourage prospective clients to look for the right fit and why I offer a free 20 minute consultation phone call.


Your last experience in therapy may not have gotten you where you wanted to go; however, this is typically more connected to the client's readiness to grow and the compatibility with the therapist. If you are ready explore your emotions, ingrained patterns, and experience a more positive relationship with yourself and others, I absolutely encourage you to reach out.
