I work with teens and adults who are coping with anxiety, depression, and life transitions.
We all deal differently with the challenges and pain in our life; it may manifest as struggles with low self-esteem, poor academic performance, intimacy in your romantic relationships, harmful eating behaviors, or trouble with your exercise and self-care routine. Regardless of how it shows up, I'm here to help you reclaim the life you want to live.
WHAT TO EXPECT
My therapeutic approach is based in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT). Check out the powerful components of these healing modalities:
As a client, you can expect therapy to be warm, collaborative and supportive. Sessions are 50 minutes in length, and focus on mindfulness, self-compassion and actionable steps and techniques for you to implement into your daily life.
It is my aim to empower you to experience difficult emotions and explore your relationships, while also shining light on the ingrained patterns and habits that prevent you from living as your most authentic self. Once you have more clarity about what's stopping you, it becomes much easier to create a pathway to a more fulfilling and rich life.
Therapy is not a linear process. There will be high points and break throughs, and there will be periods of stagnation and frustration. The time we spend together will serve as both a safe place to truly feel and to understand your experiences and emotions.
